“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Let's Do it!

Okay Ladies.....Let's do this! I am so excited to read this book. Kristi, I did hear it was really really long but that just makes me want to read it more. Some books you start and never want it to end so this will keep us busy for a while. Em, I bet you would love this! I will call Steph because I talked to her the other day and she said she couldn't get on the blog. She is on the waiting list for her Internet hook-up.
I am going to get on amazon and order it today................. BTW Kristi, I loved that shirt you ordered from Layers. Have you guys checked out that Garnet Hill website? I just ordered the catalog. SO cute...a bit pricey on some things but I loved their suits too.
Molly It was good to talk to you the other day. I am COUNTING down the days to see you all....seriously.

Sounds good. I just checked on our library web site and there are 65 people waiting for the book so I suppose I better stop being such a cheap-skate and buy the book!
I love when I find a really good book that I don't want to put down but I think it kind of bugs Lee. (who isn't a big reader)He doesn't like to watch TV with me while I'm sitting there reading a book. Oh well!

I too am excited about the book. I bet I will be on a list at my library too, so I will buy it as well.

So, how is the running? I ran 12 yesterday at 9:44 This means I am so far off of running this race in 2 hours. I did run with a friend who hit a few walls and I waited for her, but hey, come race day that could be me! This whole time I was thinking I needed 9:20 to hit the 2 hour mark. I now know it is more like 9. So, we'll see. Maybe that downhill will get me my time! I highly doubt it! But, I am excited for the trip and to see all of you.

So, let's maybe plan to get the book this week and start reading. What do you say?

I am so excited I ran out to B&N last night and got the nook. I even started it. I am a SLOW reader just so you know.
I am going to try and call you guys this week. I got my cell phone up and running again!
If you haven't gotten the book target ahd it cheaper than B&N but B&N had a copy for only 7 bucks. It was such small print that I thought I better get the bigger one if it's 1000 pages.

Seriously how hard is it to just scroll up and check my spelling? You would think I was being timed by the way I type!

lol Ang. I thought I was the world's worst typer(is that a word?)But maybe you and I can share that title!
Kristi- don't worry so much abot your time. HOnestly from what I hear the downhill is so perfect in this race that you never know how fast you'll be able to go. I do my long runs slow too. Saturday I think we did a 9:34 pace and for my race I'd like to do around an 8 minute mile. I think it's the speed workouts during the week that help you run faster when it's race time. We'll see. Do you do tempo runs or pace runs? Anyways, Maybe I should just call you so the whole world(because you know the whole world is reading this awesome blog!) doesn't have to read this boring running junk.

Alright, so don't worry about spelling and I won't either. Do you know that I always misspell stuff. When I go back and read it I am mortified and delete the comment. That is so lame. I think people are hard on me though because I am an English teacher. That doesn't mean I am the all know in English. Maybe I shoud be, but I am not!!!!!

Molly, you made me feel so much better about the time thing. I have been working hard on my sprint and tempo runs. I do one of each a week. So, I am going to try hard and just see what happens!

Did you see the Boston marathon results. Kadree Christensen ran it well!

We need to make plans for the race, the day before, after ect. Maybe we do really need to call each other. Do either of you have 3 way calling? How funny is that? I am laughing right now! But, seriously, that would be nice!

Alright, so Angie do I get the book at Target? let me know. I will get it today! I am excited!

love you girls....Kristi

So, I went to Target tonight to get the book. I am excited it is sooo long. I too am a really slow reader, but I hope it is so good that we are happy it is long! I hope to start it soon! Robert also slipped the Alvin and the Chipmunk's Cd in our cart. The kids love it and jammed to it all night. It is going to get sooo old fast! Their little, squeeky voices are cute for only one song! What I am trying to say is...don't get it!

Happy Reading!
