“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Go back

Hey guys...Go back to that post I was telling you about http://thegabblog.blogspot.com/2008/04/just-for-record.html
Read the comments.....there were over a hundred comments and two people were sharing different opinions.I just thought it was interesting. I loved the post because I felt like this girl was pointing out that we are NOT affiliated with the FLDS but boy I love to always see the other view points of people as well. I did agree with her about extending our hand out but...you go check it out....

Holy crap! Those 2 ladies were really going at it. I suppose both had valid arguements but I wouldn't want to waste my time trying to prove my point to someone who obviously is not going to change their mind. I liked some of "gabby's" points but didn't really like the photos of the young girls and comments on their clothes. I've long ago accepted the fact that the church is never going to be viewed as cool, mainstream or politically correct. The One who's church this is was none of the above. Why should His church be? Thanks for the great link Ang. There's nothing like a little Mormon scandal!
